Hobart Twilight Market
Justin also runs the Hobart Twilight Market, a Friday-night market of food, drink, makers and live music on the Hobart waterfront and at Long Beach. I took over hosting the site a few years ago from the developer who built it. It ran on WordPress, with stallholder payments going through a WooCommerce shop on the same install, so every plugin on the public site was one more way into the payment system.
I rebuilt the public site from scratch, as I did for Apple Isle Wine Tours. It’s much faster, much harder to break into, and easier to find your way around. Stallholder payments now run on their own site, locked down behind Cloudflare firewall rules. The market dates live in one file, and the site works out which market is next on its own, so nobody has to update the homepage after each one.
